Adding a banner (not from a ad network)

I have searched for an easy tutorial and even clicked on a link from another post here in the forum that said the link went to a tutorial (https://www.wp-insert.smartlogix.co.in/) and I couldn’t find a tutorial there.

I just want to add a banner with a link to a restaurant. I also want to track how many impressions and clicks, that ad gets. I have no earthly idea how to do this.

I must be dumb. You can shake your head in the affirmative now : )

I want the ad to be placed where the 160×600 banner is on this page ->
