    You can find the shortcode for an individual book on the edit / add book page, right under the permalink below the entry box for the title.

    [tb_book id="BOOKID"]

    Please replace BOOKID with the ID of the book, which is the number after post= in the URL of the edit page of the book.

    Yes, there is no other way to add a book other than through the normal channels and no way to stop the page from being generated.
