Adding a check box to a contact form

  • Hi

    I’d like to use Newsletter sign-up to add a check box to the end of my contact form, not the comments form or registration form. Is there anyway to do this?

    In short, no. I might be able to hook into Contact Form 7 and code it, but it all depends. Are you using a plugin to handle your contact form and if so, which one?

    Hi Danny,
    Yes we are using a plugin called Dagon Design Form Mailer. We’ve tried to implement some code we found ourselves but can’t seem to get it to work. In the hopes that this helps you figure out where to add the code I’ll provide the following:
    In the file dd-formmailer.php (in the dd-formmailer plugin folder) line 4390 is where the submit button for this form is located. Hopefully that speeds up the process for you while looking through the code.

    By the way we are using the Thesis Theme version 1.8 with wordpress version 3.1.3
