    Hi,

    I am trying to add a “Create New” (event) button on the main event page. I am not a developer but I can usually figure things out. That said, none of the hacks i found online seem to work. Would be great if anyone could help me with this.

    FYI – I am not allowing users to access the wp-admin so all events are currently created on the front end and i would like to keep it that way. thanks!

    Best, Yvan

    you can try this settings;

    Events > Settings > General > Event Submission Forms

    or

    Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages > Front-end management pages

    Thanks Gelo_nwl

    I have already done that. I am now looking to add/insert a “create new” button to the main events page. Let me know if I am not making any sense.

    sorry but I’m afraid that aside from the steps or options I shared above this is not available out of the box and might need additional coding on your part to make this work.

    Hi Gelo,

    Apologies for the late response. I have actually found a way around this.

    Many thanks for your support!

    The method I used was to create a custom link in Menus and point it at /add-an-event/?action=edit
