Adding a downloadable .pdf from a link

    I want to put a link inside an email taking the user to a hidden page or a .pdf or something and can’t figure out how. how can i do this or something to make it work. i’m used to using dreamweaver where you can just put a link directly to the .pdf.

    i’ve tried creating a subdirectory in the root directory for wordpress (hosted by hostgator) and it won’t link.

    any other suggestions to this issue are very welcome!
