Adding a "enter text" option to a Select List

  • Hi,

    I asked this question a while back and it didn’t get answered. It probably got lost in the all the work transitioning to the new (and improved!:) Fast Secure.
    My apologies if there is an answer elsewhere, but I cannot find it.

    I would like a Field Type “Select List” to have an ‘enter text’ option.
    For example:

    How did you hear about us? Dropdown Select List
    Newspaper
    Radio
    Television
    Other – Please Describe (user has the ability to enter an answer/text in this field)

    On my website it is this field:
    How did you hear about Banteay Chhmar?

  • That option is not available, sorry.
    You can make a select and a text that is not required. It will kind of get you there

    Thanks. That’s ok. It’s not a huge issue, but it would help track our tourists/visitors a little more.
    I’m not sure if anyone else has figured out another way to do this, perhaps with a different field type.
