I’m not sure I’m just overthinking this but here goes:

I have a RegistrationMagic form for users to create an account and join a group. The form is relatively simple, and the fields are mapped to the group. I want to allow my users to add more information to their profiles after they’ve joined the group – do I just add new fields to the “Group Registration Form Fields” – doing nothing to the original RM form? Then direct users to edit their profile to complete the extra fields if they want to?

    Hello @rosbiffer,

Currently, The RegistrationMagic registration form does not support hiding a field on the form while displaying it only in the user profile. If you opt for the ProfileGrid Group registration form for registration, you can hide a field on the registration form by configuring the option in the field settings. Subsequently, users will be able to edit the field after logging into their profile.

Ok. I may have worded my question wrong (again!).

If I use an RM form to register for a group, with all those field mapped to the group form, people can register for the group. Am I correct in thinking that if the group form has extra fields, these can be completed later on a user’s profile page – so nothing to do with RM? So in that way the initial registration form can be quite simple, and then further information can be added by the user later if they want to.

    Hello @rosbiffer,

Yes, you may add the fields in group which users can edit later after login on site.
