Adding a full page width "subscribe" form/bar?!

    Can anybody tell me how to make a subscribe bar for my blog that is the full width of the page? Similar to a navigation bar but instead contains text and a slot to enter your email to subscribe?

    Certain plugins or code that is needed? I currently use MailChimp (but can switch to whatever)

    Any and all advice very appreciated!

    I use Headway theme, if this makes any difference.
