adding a home page

  • hello everybody

    i would like to know if there is a plug in
    or not, i have photography website and i want to create 2 web sites
    one for blogging and for portfolio.
    what i would like to do is to create a homepage
    when anyone goes to my site, they choose if they wants to access the BLOG or PORTFOLIO

    i have one right now.
    but for my second site, i will use wordpress also.

    i tried the “static front page” doesn’t work.
    i don’t want to use a template of the theme.
    i want a blank page that i could start with.
    i guess i would need to create it with photoshop and upload the files
    to the host

    I would create a page with a custom page template. This page template would be the blank page you are referring to. I would put on that page the option of selecting one of the two sites. This page I would set as my static front page. I would then install my second WP install and have it cover the second site. The link on your static page would link to the blog page of your first WP install and the second link to the second WP install.
