Adding a Menu and Location in the Header

    Hi,

    I have currently installed a WordPress theme, however I would like to add an additional Menu right at the top of the website (Header).

    The theme already provides a Main Menu and a Footer Header.

    I am aware of how to create a Menu: Appearance > Create New Menu etc but what I am looking for is how to create the location at the very top of my website. Is there any tutorials etc? I believe I may have to edit the function.php file and the header.php file?

    Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.
