Adding a menu in Category

    the menu should appear in pages with that category as far I’m understanding.

    That selection is for the category archive.

    The plugin does not apply the selection to the individual posts because a post can be assigned multiple categories. If you had menus assigned to each category, the plugin has no way of knowing which category menu ought to be applied to that post.
