Adding a page with Simplify theme

  • I’m creating a website (not a blog). I’ve created a home page using the Simplify theme. I’m now trying to create another page with the Simplify theme but when I hit new page I get blog page. How do I create a page under the simplify page? I’m sure it’s a simple step I’m missing. Thanks!

  • I don’t understand your question. Just go to Pages >> Add new, or Posts >> Add new.

    Regardless of what theme you’re using, that will add a new page or post.

    Thanks for replying – I do that and I get the blog format type page. How do I edit in within the simplify theme. Appreciate the answers, this is very new for me. thanks.

    In the right-hand side of the page or post you’re constructing, there’s a drop-down box that allows you to choose the type of template your theme allows for.

    I don’t know your theme, but you probably have a page or post template; use that. Don’t use the blog template.
