Adding a search function to Menu list

Hamilton does not have widget support, no. You’ll have to do some custom development in a child theme to add output of a search form.

Thanks @anlino. Developing child themes is beyond my competency. But I was able to achieve a satisfactory result using the Ivory Search plugin, which you can inspect on my site (drop down menu; Primary menu).
