    Hi,

Unfortunately it is only possibly to set up a required checkbox for the Terms and Conditions but not for the Privacy Policy. How would it be possible to add a second required checkbox for accepting the Privacy Policy as well?

Why isn’t it a default setting option?

    Thank you in advance,
    Tibor

    Hello @tiborcsakvari

Adding a checkbox for Privacy Policy is not standard practice and not something that’s required. Also note that not every theme is going to show the PP notice either.

If you haven’t already, please go to Customize > WooCommerce > Checkout and make sure that the Privacy Policy is set there. Screenshot here

It sounds as if you already have the Terms page set already correct? If so you could always add a custom link on the terms page inside the terms content to link to the privacy page as well.

    Hi ??

I have set up everything properly, please see the attached screenshot and here you can also see that what I am missing is an individual checkbox for Privacy Policy. It is required to have Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy separated with a required checkbox in my country.

Thank you for your help in advance ??

Hey there, @tiborcsakvari! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

    Thank you for the details!

By default, it is not possible to add a privacy policy check box on the checkout.

But you can achieve this with a plugin or custom code.

While we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

If you rather use a plugin, you can search for “privacy policy check box checkout woocommerce“, or something similar, on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we also do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
