Adding a sidebar and/or footer

    Is there a plugin that allows you to add a sidebar or footer or both without messing up your theme? I have found a couple of ways in previous posts on this forum, but they involve a knowledge of html that I don’t possess. I don’t want to mess with the codes for my theme because I have a feeling I might do more harm than good. Anything easy out there that you just install?

    No. You can only do this by editing your theme.

    In that case. Do you know of a site that describes the easiest way to accomplish this? There are differences in the directions from a lot of the sites I have looked at so far, and it is pretty confusing.

    Start with Theme_Development.
