Adding a small blog in the sidebar?

  • Hi,

    I hope somebody out there can help me. I am setting up a blog which will have articles but in my side bar I want to have product announcements, seminar dates, industry news etc which will be too small for a full article. I have searched the web and have only come across one solution which I’m not very happy with. I’ve searched for plugins/widgets without any luck. At this stage I am thinking of writing some html myself (which I’m not very good at).

    Has anybody out there got any tips or tricks for me?
