Adding a span element inside the div container

The final html code generated by widget or shortcode ever wrap my banner with a div container, but it is not what I want. Instead I would like to put a span just before the link “a” tag.
It would be:

<div class=”wp_bannerizer_banner_box”>
<span>- ADVERTISE -</span>Can you tell me how to personalize the plugin for my needs? What php file may I rewrite?
