Adding a telephone number field

    I am trying to add 2 fields to a particular product. One for name and one for a telephone number. The name seems to work as a text field but I am struggling to find a way to format the phone field correctly in the free version of flexible custom fields.
    Is there way to do this with a mask or regex? Thanks

    Hello @centauriprime

    The Phone field available in the free version has regex validation in the settings. Please add such a field and go to the Advanced tab of that field. Enter the regex code in the Validation regex input.
    There are two code examples in our documentation.
    In the Appearance tab there is an input named Placeholder that can be used to enter a hint for the client what format is correct.

    There doesn’t seem to be a phone field in the free version just a number field. I can’t see anywhere to add regex

    Hi Tomasz. There doesn’t seem to be a phone field in the free version I am running. I see text, number etc but phone isn’t there.

    The Phone field is available since version 3.2.0 released on 2022-02-08. Please update the plugin if the field is not available.

    I am sorry but Flexible Product Fields does not have a Phone field or regex validation feature. So there is no option for the text field to be validated as a phone.
    Please use the field placeholder or tooltip to tell users what the correct number format is.
