adding /?abc=someword to the wordpress website page url displays that pages content with altered url.
even adding /? to the url pressing enter displays the contents of the homepage for example with the url showing /?
at first i thought it was /?eqf=saravanaraj-duraisamy (the one alerted by google inferring the site had been hacked) but you can substitute anything and it seems to work /?trump=orwelliannightmare works!
There was a spammy hack – which I have fully cleaned from the server via cpanel, which is now gone. This has something to do with it but no idea what. A non-malicious (?) remnant – it isnt added dynamically – i doubt it can call anything but how does it linger and how to get rid of it???
is it search related? does /?abc= always mean a search result?
pleeeease help!
