Adding Additional Product Images

You could look at this plugin (free) https://easydigitaldownloads.com/downloads/edd-download-images/ which lets you upload additional images to a Download.

If you check the documentation you will see that it uses shortcodes to display the actual extra images and you could potentially place that shortcode inside the actual Download description to list them on the product page.
