Adding ads to page

  • I have 2 ads I want to put on my page. One is an adsense ad. When it was the only ad & I had it as the default I had no problem. Now I’ve added a HTML ad & made it the default so now the adsense doesn’t show up.
    My question is what do I put on the page to make the adsense ad work. I thought it would be “ad-1” (which is the ad designation) but that doesn’t work. Can someone tell me what to put there to make it work?

    I suggest you to create two different files for both the ads..and then call them in your blog one in sidebar page and on header page..

    Shane,

    I’m not quite sure of what you mean. Right now the ads are in the Advertising Manager plugin & are numbered ad-1 & ad-4. I changed ad-1 from the default where all I had to put in was [ad] for it to work. Now I’ve changed the default to ad-4 and I put in [ad] and it shows up.
    I remember seeing in the adsense manager what to put in to make an work but now can’t find it.
    Hopefully this makes sense and you know what I should put on the page to make the non-default ad work.
