Adding & amending a volunteer rota

Hello, I’m hoping somebody out there can help me.

I run a local cub scout group, and I want to create a parent help rota. Rather than do this on A4, we have our own self hosted WP site. I thought maybe I could create some sort of calendar, presented on the WordPress site, and allow people to put their name down against a date to volunteer to help us run our group. We only meet on Mondays, therefore don’t need a whole Weekly calendar, just Mondays for the rest of the year. OK to use a third party calendar such as Google or something within a plugin.

Does anybody out there have any suggestions on how to make life easy for me whilst putting this together. Not all of our children’s parents have a login on our site, So I thought maybe making it easy to login via their existing social media or Gmail accounts would help, but creating the calendar & making it easily editable is something that is puzzling and evading me.
