adding an id to a field

  • Hi is there a way to add an id to to a hidden form field? My CRM will only pick up the field it it has an id, so I am trying to create output that looks something like?

    <input type=hidden name=”some name” id=”some id” value=”some value> but can find nothing in the docs about doing this.

    I tried adding html_id=”some id” but the field then fails to render, so I guess that is for the form only
