Adding an RSS Feed to my blog

  • I want to have a feed on my WP site where people are notified when I add a new post. How do I do that?

    I have Simple RSS Feed plugin installed, but I don’t know if that’s the right one. I’m totally in the dark here.

  • Hi John, you don’t have to add any plugins to enable RSS feeds. By default your WordPress site will generate it’s own RSS feed at example.com/?feed=rss2. It’s automatically linked too for most themes so web browsers will immediately discover it.

    You can then link directly to that from your site. You can also use a plugin like this to display your RSS feed: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/social-media-widget/
