Adding and showing distances

  • I’m running a blog on sending postcards. I’d like to add the distance send and received manually if I make the post.

    These distances should be added together by category and preferably shown in a widget. Showing averages, shortest and longest distances would be nice but not required.

    In other words: I want to add a number to a blogpost and these should be added together and shown in categories.

    Sounds simple to me but I can not find a plugin which does this, can someone help me?
