    Hi
“/ar” suffix has been added automatically to the end of most of my site URLs, even English ones,
    Example:
    Normal URL https://riversworld.net/ar/shop/
    affected URL: https://riversworld.net/ar/shop/ar
Not that only. Also, The new URL gives 404 error And this only appears in G Analytics. And there you can find for some URLs overs 1000 visits. All of them 404 and all of them have 100% bounce rate.
    Resaving permalinks doesn’t do anything
    I’m using WPML
    Have a look here please

    Please help ASAP

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out!

With WooCommerce by default the permalinks are set up in wp-admin >> Settings >> permalinks.

If the ar part is not indicated there – perhaps this behaviour is caused by one of the plugins you’re using or your theme. This might be WMPL.
    ?
The best way to determine which plugin (or your theme) is causing this is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Check if the ar part is still appended

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Hi
    Thanks for reply

Please note that the site works fine. And these URLs appear only in GA Even in real time report it will give you the same URL that you are on and site is working. But when you click the link from G Analytics it opens 404 error page. Because there are no such pages on site.

I redirected all those URLs to their original ones and they still appear in GA the same

    Hi @riversworldsa

Are these URLS in Google Analytics showing up as the referer URL? If so, I believe that’s by design in GA.

    Hi

    Thanks for reply
I have another site on the same GA account and doesn’t have that issue.
It’s built by WordPress also and uses WPML

It looks like something is automatically adding that /ar/ to your shop URLs. If it’s not in your settings, I suspect it’s a plugin.

Can you please confirm that you don’t have this entered anywhere on the Settings > Permalinks > Product Permalinks or in the section above it for “Optional”?

Additionally, are you using any sort of redirect plugin or any plugin that might effect your URL structure?

As grigaswp suggested above, you really need to conduct conflict and theme testing. Until you’ve taken that step, we cannot really help you with the issue because we need to rule that out first and foremost.

Here are the steps we need you to take next:

1.) To begin, please make sure that your theme and all plugins are up to date.

2.) Try to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if the issue persists. If the problem goes away, re-activate and test each plugin to see if you can determine which plugin the problem originates from.

3.) If the above does not resolve the issue, try switching your theme to the Storefront theme (https://woocommerce.com/storefront/) and see if it works correctly. If it does, you’ll want to contact your theme’s developers and see if they have a fix/update.

If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, please feel free to send us your System Status Report to help us troubleshoot. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please feel free to start a new thread.
