adding back comments to posts

  • I’m brand new to wordpress and websites. When I first created my website, I didn’t want comments on there. Somehow I found a way to take them off.
    But now I can’t seem to figure out how to get them back on.
    I am using the Canyon theme. I have another website that has the Canyon theme and it has comments on it.
    When I compare the discussion settings they are identical.
    When I compare the coding for single post and content-single.php, they are identical.
    But for some reason one website has comments and I can’t get them to show up on the other.
