Adding Button to RTE

  • Hi there,

    I am looking for help to add a simple button in the default WP2-RTE-Buttonline.
    It is supposed to open a window with a list of Quick-Tags and add this Tag (something like “[date=1234]”) to the Edit-DIV.

    All the Plugins I checked out eather didn’t add a button without errors or their code was way to complex. There must be an easy way to extend the RTE!?

    Hope sb can help me which Hooks or Actions I have to use…
