I would like to add a field (checkbox) to the checkout so that users can agree with the TOC. However, the checkout field editor plugins don’t work with woocommerce blocks. Only if I use [woocommerce_checkout] as a shortcode on the checkout. But this also messes up the design of the new woocommerce checkout.

Is there a way to add a checkbox via the functions.php or any other way?

  • Hi there @rickaahz,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand you’d like to add a checkbox on your store checkout so that users can agree with the TOC.

First, please make sure that you have set your terms and condition page in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page setup.

Next, head over to your checkout field using your block editor and toggle the option ‘Require checkbox’ under DIsplay options. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://snipboard.io/a6UHQq.jpg
