Adding Comments Functionality to a Page

Try adding <?php comments_template(); ?> to your theme’s page.php template file at the end of the Loop.

The first 9 posts to the blog page of my website show a REPLY balloon image and a LEAVE A REPLY link below each blog–great!–but these have gone away with my last few blogs. Can you help me get the balloon image and LEAVE A REPLY link back? I’d sure appreciate some idiot-proof instructions. Thanks!

@halleywordpress: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a question of your own and it causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers. Please post your own topic.

We try not to take that hard a line on it but prefer to point the poster in the right direction instead. ??

Not suggesting hard. Just suggesting a clean-up. I get confused and frustrated when I try to follow a thread that has unconnected posts. Another issue is threads that never post a clear and concise final answer/reolution, but make the reader read through umpteen posts and try to figure out what the answer is, if there is one . . .

I agree that it can be very frustrating when people so not make topics as resolved – preferably with a posted solution to boot. We do try to encourage people to do this but there’s only so much we can do in that direction.
