• Hi. I want to add the contact form I made with the help of this plugin to the header. I’m working on a website that provides protection and solves issues of personal privacy and I want to put a contact form in the header so the people who need it to see it immediately. It’s kinda like when you’re booking an airplane ticket online. It looks the same.

  • If you create a widget-capable area in your theme, you should be able to add the contact forum using a Text widget.

Yeah I thought about creating a new widget area, but the thing is that I gave it a try in the theme’s sidebar, with a text widget, and the only thing that appears is the code, not the form.

Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme?

Yes, the same issue…the code [contact-form-7 id=”50″ title=”Contact form 1″] appears. It works only in pages, from what I’ve seen.

It works in a Text widget just fine for me when using the 2014 theme.

I didnt see an answer for this original question. I too want to add the contact form to the header, NOT THE BODY of the page. There is no way to add a text widget to the header that I can see. Can you please explain the steps. Thanks!!
