Adding Content After the More Tag

  • I’m wondering if there is a way to add content after the <!–more–> tag using a plugin.

    Specifically, what I’m trying to do is have the <!–more–> tag do its thing and then have a plugin add content after the “Read more” link is displayed by the more tag. For instance:

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aliquam suscipit nunc id turpis. Praesent aliquet massa eget mi.

    Can I use the_content filter to do this?
