Adding Content Block Under 3 home widgets

I was looking through the posts under this theme and not finding a good answer to the below problem. I want to add a content area below the 3 home widgets where I can display a bunch of logos. This area must be 100% width, and be placed under the 3 widgets. It would be great to have a page or post display down there, but I don’t see that option when I go to customize the home page. Is there any way to do this? Please explain.
