• Under the customize section, there is an area to add custom css. I was wondering if this was so that you don’t have to go through the process of adding a child theme which essentially adds a custom css file?

  • Hi iacino

Yes under customize section there is an ared to add custom CSS.
For issues that can be solved by adding simple CSS, you can directly go to custom CSS and your write your CSS there. For this you don’t need to create child theme.
But you issue does not get resolved by adding custom CSS or you need to modify or edit some files of main theme then you need to create child theme and edit those file there in child theme.
There purpose of making child theme is your changes does not disappear after theme update.

    Best Regards!!!
