• The template I am using does not currently have a footer that lets me put extra menus/pages/links at the bottom. I would like to add a large area at the bottom to put three list menus so i can add more pages that wont show up in my top menu. Do I need a plug-in for this or can i copy the .php code from another template? Thanks!

    maybe not directly, however getting ‘inspiration’ from another template is a good idea;
    in your case maybe from Twenty Ten and the way the footer with the widgets is programmed there.

    I know what I want it to look like but I am not sure how to just make up the .php code or change the style sheet to include a different footer. also, how do i get a page to only show up in the footer menu and not the default top menu?
