I want to set my default fiat currency to my local currency. But my local currency is not on the list of default fiat currency.

How do I add my default fiat currency?

    I want to add Naira(?).

    Hello,

This does not currently work because the fiat currencies available to the plugin are pulled from the https://www.fixer.io/ service.

To do this I would need to add a freely available exchange rates source that provides the Naira-USD exchange rate.

I will look, but if you are aware of any such good API, please let me know. Most APIs would require signing up to a service, so I will have to review which one is most suitable.

    thanks

    Hello,

Thanks to recent changes to the fixer.io service, Naira (NGN) is now supported.

You must first update to Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets 3.4.0 and provide an API key to the fixer service.

    More information here: https://www.dashed-slug.net/fixer-api-key/

What a great news and an update.
Am really glad for this update.

Thank you very much. This has been a long awaited update for me.

The free version of the fixer.io says 500 api calls per month, what does this really implies and how is one api call counted.
