Adding excerpt to file outside installation directory

  • Hi,

    I’ve currently got my WordPress installation in the /news/ subdirectory of my site, but i’d like to have the excerpt of the most recent story (or maybe the two most recent stories) appear on the site homepage, which is of course located outside of this directory. If this possible??
