Adding Existing User/Authors As Board Member

I’m currently having issues making existing users, who are all assigned Authors, as Board Members. Authors have the ability to upload property information and create news posts, but when I reassigns them as Board Members all they can do is Board Member functions.

Only the administrator (I’m the only administrator out of 20 users) can perform the role of Board Member and other site functions.

Unfortunately, with the plugin only admin users can add themselves as board members. If you wanted to add authors to the board you should be able to using the Members plugin and providing all authors the “serve_on_board” capability. Of course, this requires a little more technical know-how and the easiest way to accomplish what you’re talking about is to make the authors admins, but I know that’s not always a fit depending on the permissions you’d like to allow.
