Adding External Page to Squirrly Sitemap

    The page I linked is a page that I would like to add to our Squirrly sitemap on WordPress. I just installed Squirrly because YOAST plugin stopped working, so I cleaned up the automatic sitemap that Squirrly made us, and now I want to add this external page to our home site map before submitting to Google Console.

    Hi @laurenistraining,

    On the sitemap, you can only have pages/posts that are part of your site, so it’s not possible to add an external page that isn’t part of it.

    Even if we would have this option GSC will throw an error because it doesn’t allow any external links on the sitemap.

    i.e.
    site1.com cannot be added to site2.com/sitemap.xml

    Ok thanks for the response! That does make sense, I’m just wondering if there’s anyway I can have just one external page listed as a site link on Google/ how I would accomplish this with Google Console.

    Sadly this is not possible to achieve, and even if it was, Google would still reject it, so I don’t think this is a realistic thing to do.
