Adding fields to registration form

Has anyone implemented adding fields to the registration form AND the fields show up in the WP admin and/or Customer records in RCP admin?

Ive followed exactly as at: https://restrictcontentpro.com/knowledgebase/creating-custom-registration-fields/

The fields show but do not get recorded. Am running the pro version, contacted support, but have no reply. Any feedback on this is appreciated.
