Adding Footer 3 (new area)

    I was watching the video linked to the plugin and noticed that there is a “FOOTER 3” area section in the video, but I am lost on how to create the 3rd (and more) areas.

    I could not make the Advanced Twenty Seventeen Plugin make a new widget column for the footer in Advanced:Footer
    With some changes to the child functions.php and footer-widgets.php and Additional CSS I added my own. The code is on a few websites… Google: add column to wordpress footer
    Then returning to Advanced:Footer, it kicked in and worked…
    No idea what I changed to make it add a widget, but it see’s the new 3rd column and works with it.
