Adding google autocomplete search

Hello,

I would like to change the search engine on my site so it looks the same as the one on maps.google.com. The site is sunvago . com and what I need is to allow visitors to search through the projects available within proximity of their neihborhoods. For example they type in their home address with zip code, hit search and they will be taken to the map area with the projects close to where they live. I tried few plugins but none works the way I want. Any suggestions how can I approach this problem? Is it doable? Ideally I would only want to add autocomplete and ability to search through zip codes and addresses database and leave the map as it is now.
