Adding hero image and overlay

  • Hello. I’m trying to get a hero image + overlay image on funthingsapp.com just like they have on badoo.com.

    I tried using the advice on https://css-tricks.com/text-blocks-over-image/ but it’s not really the look I want.

    Like badoo.com, I’d like:

    1) a rounded rectangle, slightly transparent background
    2) the two download app store image links inside the rectangle with the proper hotlinks
    3) in the same right-side position but not against the screen edge
    4) the text header above the app store images (currently designated H8 but whatever is ok)
    5) responsive design, so that it stays in proper position no matter the device

    The current theme is Genesis + Outreach.

    I feel I’m close, but I’m not there and I’ve hit the limit of my CSS/HTML knowledge. I’d really appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
