Adding HTML5 Canvas Element Drawings to Posts

    When you switch from text to visual editor <canvas> … </canvas> elements are removed from the content.

    Is there a way of preventing the visual editor from deleting HTML5 Canvas elements from a post, other than avoiding using the visual editor altogether?
