I have custom post UI set up for my WordPress site and I am trying to add an iframe into a content module. When I add the iframe code the content appears in the visual portion, but when I click “Update” to save, the code gets deleted.

How can I add an iframe to my page if I am using custom post UI modules?

    Thanks!

    hi @jasmineleechuy

Are you talking about gutenberg blocks or the classic editor? Asking because we don’t ship any modules with CPTUI or the premium CPTUI-Extended so any stripping of content would be WordPress core doing it. If you’re on a multisite, I think it could be related to “unfiltered HTML” capabilities.

Hi @tw2113 we are working in the classic editor. However, it’s set up to add different modules. In this case, I am trying to add the iframe to a module type called “Paged Content”. If this caused by “unfiltered HTML” capabilities, then the solution is to change/update my account’s role, correct? Thanks for your help!

I would assume potentially. It’s also possible that these module types are doing all the stripping work for you. Since I’m not sure what may be providing it, I can’t say much more about it. It doesn’t sound like something that comes with out-of-box WordPress. If it’s provided by the theme you’re currently using or a plugin, it’d be best to talk to the developer of that to see what they say.
