adding image below menu bar in thematic

  • Hi there,

    Let me kick off by saying that I am new to WordPress and need the help of the wise…

    Have only just started on my child theme (is very basic at present) and would like to add a single banner like advert image in the thematic_belowheader() area or alternatively use some other method to get an image in this area?

    Fine with html and css side of things, but I’m lacking in the .php coding department.

    Any help would be hugely appreciated. Please try and keep it as simple as you can ??
