    I’m trying to figure out if GetPaid will work for me.

    I make custom sculpted motorcycle parts. When a client approaches me, we generally have a conversation via email where we review his design idea, confirm size and specifications, and settle on a price.

    From there, the payments happen in two steps. Step 1 the client pays for the initial 3D sculpting. Once I complete that work, I send it to the client to review. Once approved, the client pays the final balance and I make the piece.

    From what I see, GetPaid would be perfect, except I need to add images to the invoices. I need to add a single image (a mockup of the part) to the first invoice, and a series of images (the 3D renderings of the sculpture) to the second invoice.

    I’ve been experimenting with GetPaid, and if there is a way of doing that, it isn’t obvious to me how. Is there an addon that covers this? Is there a better way of solving this problem?

    Hello,

    You can add / display images with invoices using Invoice Notes or Invoice Description, both available in the backend Edit Invoice page.

    1) Invoice Notes

    1.1) Go to WordPress Admin > Invoices > Add New/Edit Invoice > Invoice Notes

    1.2) Add note text. Ex: Image https://mysite.com/files/2024/04/myimage.png

    1.3) Select note type to “Note to customer” & Click Add

    2) Invoice Description

    2.1) Go to WordPress Admin > Invoices > Add New/Edit Invoice > Invoice Description

    2.2) Add description text. Ex: Image https://mysite.com/files/2024/04/myimage.png OR Image

    <img style="max-width:100%" src="https://mysite.com/files/2024/04/myimage.png">

    2.3) Update Whenever the invoice is sent to the customer, it will have the above items with the invoice notification and on invoice receipt.

    Check out those options and let us know how you get on.
