adding images to posts

not much to show – when i upload an image in the middle of my post it gets posted at the very top of my post, not where i want it. is there any tutorial showing how to manipulate photos in posts?

Use the html editor.

Try ticking “Left” or “Right” under Alignment when inserting the images.

doesn’t work…it gets inserted at the top of my post whether or not i choose none, left, right or center

Since they’re being inserted, only in the wrong place, cut and paste them where you want them, so you won’t waste any more time trying to fix a buggy visual editor.

Then switch to html mode.

I mean your goal is to create a blog, not fix wp’s editor; Right?

The images on the page you linked to above were all set to align:none or align:center. None where aligned left or right.
