Adding images to products loads new page

  • When I want to add images to products (ie. featured image) woocommerce loads a new page and there is no way to return. In 2.x versions it, how to say, opened a “window” on top of the product page, where I could upload and select desired images and add them to products and the “window” disappeared then. I reinstalled the latest 2.x version and it is working again. It does not work with any 3.x versions.
    Hope anybody understands what I mean and can help me or fix it.

    Take a backup before proceeding with any of the following steps.

    Its possible that your theme has not yet been updated to work with WooCommerce versions 2.3.x. Check that you have the latest version of your theme.

    Next I think you should make sure the problem is not caused by a plugin conflict. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. If that solves the problem, reactivate plugins one-by-one to try to identify the plugin which is causing the problem.

    If deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce does not solve the problem, then temporarily switch to the default theme. If the problem is resolved, you will now know that the problem is caused by your theme. The www.ads-software.com forum is unable to resolve theme problems for commercial themes:

    so you will need to get support from the theme vendor. Support is usually included in the price, and the vendor’s techs know their themes best.

    Hopefully it will just be a case of waiting a short while for the theme to catch up with the latest WooCommerce and a theme update to be made available.
