Adding images with iPad

I tried to upload images via de backend of WordPress but on an Ipad. I can select the gallery, I can select the images, but then the magic happens. Every image is called image, so if I upload 5 images at one time, I get 5 the same images and if I upload them one by one the images are overwritten. I tried it with several images from the iPad, also the ones I know for sure that they have different names. But they are all called image as soon as the are in the list to be uploaded to a gallery.
Is this a bug?
